Search2Close (“Search2Close,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a title and escrow company serving Ohio and Florida. As a provider of real estate settlement services, we are a financial institution under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of the information entrusted to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have — including our practices for text (SMS) messaging.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

- Transaction and financial information — information necessary to perform title and escrow services, which may include nonpublic personal information such as property details, loan and lender information, and settlement figures.

How we share your information
We share information only as needed to provide our services and as permitted by law — for example, with title underwriters, lenders, real estate agents, and settlement-service providers involved in your transaction, and with service providers who support our operations (such as payment, e-signature, document hosting, and communications vendors) under obligations of confidentiality. We may also share information when required by law or to prevent fraud. We do not sell your personal information.
Mobile / text-message information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Text (SMS) messaging
If you provide your mobile number and consent, Search2Close may send you text messages related to your transaction or a document you requested (for example, a link to a net sheet). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you can get help by replying HELP or contacting us at +1-727-285-9005. For your security, Search2Close will never send wire or banking instructions by text or email. If you receive instructions that appear to come from us, call our office to verify before acting on them.
How we protect your information
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect the information we hold, consistent with our obligations as a settlement-service provider. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
